My Son was diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder when he was 8 years old. For three years he used an FM system at school. Slowly he was making some improvements. Then when he was going into High School we were looking at moving onto low gain hearing aids.

Claire from Capable Hearing Solutions, recommended therapy sessions first to see if he could make some gains in his areas of weakness. After the first 12 weeks of sessions, he has made enough gains that he is going to school without a hearing device. I would absolutely recommend therapy sessions to anybody who has Auditory Processing. They have made such a huge difference to the way my Son listens and interacts.

We will definitely be using therapy for my Daughter who has also recently received an Auditory Processing Diagnosis.

Claire has been working with my son to provide therapy and support for his Auditory Processing Disorder. Claire's sessions are well thought-out and she is able to keep my son focused and engaged for the whole session. My son (2 years) was not communicating and did not stop screaming. We came down from Karratha for an Autism Assessment and on the last day of testing (and the last day of our stay) the speech therapist asked for a hearing test to rule out hearing loss before giving the formal autism diagnosis. Claire fitted us in at the last minute, discovered that my son had severe glue ear and recommended us to see an ENT. My son had grommets inserted and his screaming has stopped and he has started talking. We are unsure of his diagnosis now as so much has changed so quickly, but we are so grateful to Claire for her kindness in fitting us in, pointing us in the right direction for treatment. I feel like she changed my life with her help and kindness.

Claire is lovely and developed a repore with my son quickly and the report is very comprehensive.
